Pharrell’s album is out and it’s creating such a buzz. Haters are commenting on the cover of his single, GIRL. Listeners are commenting that there are no black girls on the cover. A bunch of guys commented on YouTube that they won’t support the album because there are no black girls on the cover WTF. What a bunch of crap. The US- it’s the one country that is overly obsessed with race, but is supposed to be so culturally diverse and accepting. Who cares if there is a Black girl on the cover or not. People are judging Pharrell without even giving him a compromising chance. Someone could argue there is no Asian women on the cover, who cares and who knows who is what based on a picture. Maybe there are some bi-racial women in that pic. We don’t know. If we want to get technical aren’t most of us bi or tri-racial?
Pharrell is such an intelligent guy that he doesn’t feed into the negativity. His accolades speak for his talent, expertise, and charisma.
