Besides sounding crazy on TMZ saying weed makes him a better parent (32:45). If you listened to what he was saying in its entirety he is able to function high, but if he was on heavier drugs or even alcohol he wouldn't be able to function and take care of his daughter. In some ways he was making it seem as if he was calmed by marijuana and its effects on his pyschy. Come-on lets not act like its not legal in 2 states right now for recreational use. Some may agree that he is right about marijuana not being as dangerous as alcohol or heavier drugs. In some odd way I follow what he's saying.
Bases on lyrical content, flow, and beats I pick School Boy Q for song/artist of the week. I saw School Boy Q in concert when he opened up for A$AP Rocky (one of my favorite younger artists of today besides Kendrick Lamar) about a year ago in NYC, the Roseland Ballroom. Although, I felt like I was in high school- in a basement- in the projects-listening to underground hip hop music- getting second hand marijuana fumes, the show was dope.
